Garbage​ truck bursts into flames in Midtown, 2 injured

Midtown, Manhattan- A fire started in the back of a  garbage truck this afternoon, leaving two workers with minor injuries, according to authorities.  The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 PM on 45th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues.  After arriving on the scene, firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, according to FDNY officials.

Early this morning a large fire raged through a car wash, filling the air with heavy black smoke that could be seen from blocks away.

Red Neck, the Bronx- Early Tuesday morning, there was a large fire in the Bronx that left almost two dozen injured and required hundreds of firefighters to respond to the scene. The fire broke out around 5:30 AM in a furniture store at 1574 Commonwealth Avenue and then spread to apartments above it.
