Small fire inside NYC Housing Authority building in Staten Island.

Mariners Harbor, Staten Island- A fire early this morning in an NYC Public Housing building left two people with minor injuries, according to officials.

The fire was reported on the first floor of a three-story building located at 80 Roxbury St, off Grand Ave at approximately 1:53 a.m., according to the FDNY.

Fighters brought the fire under control about 30 minutes after arriving on the scene, the FDNY said.

EMS removed one civilian victim to Richmond University Medical Center; it appears their injuries were not life-threatening, according to officials.

FDNY officials did not immediately indicate what may have caused the blaze.
