Upper West Side, Manhattan- Last night a fire in a high-rise residential building, just two blocks north of the Museum of Natural History, displaced multiple residents, according to authorities.
The fire started just before 10 PM on the 15th floor of a building located at 225 Central Park West. It was called under control about 30 minutes later, according to the FDNY.
Preliminary reports that the fire was caused by some sort of electrical problem, however, it is unclear exactly what sparked the blaze.
The FDNY stated that were no reports of injuries but some residents of the building were displaced to the lobby, a few bringing their dogs and suitcases with them.
