
Gramercy Park, Manhattan- On Monday morning, an employee of a juice shop slashed his co-worker in the face with a knife after they got into an argument, according to officials.
The incident occurred around 11:30 AM inside a Liquiteria juice shop, located on W 17 St. near 5th Avenue.
As a result of the slashing, the suspect’s co-worker had a laceration to the face that required 40 stitches, according to police.
It is unclear what the two Liquiteria employees were arguing about prior to the slashing.
Detectives on the scene were observed talking to witnesses in nearby shops and at one point seemed to be searching through a large dumpster outside the juice shop.
Police later stated that they are looking for Leonard Jackson, a resident of Brooklyn, in connection with the stabbing.
