Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn-On Saturday night at around 6 PM,  a 33-year-old man was struck by an A train at Jay St-MetroTech station and pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.

When the man made contact with the train, the force of the impact broke the glass window of the front car.

Authorities believe that the man intentionally jumped in front of the train.

After the incident, about a hundred commuters were stranded at the Jay St-MetroTech station because power had to be shut off to four sperate train tracks while emergency workers removed the man’s body.

More than an hour later, power was restored and subway service resumed.
