Suspect at large for a brutal Bronx murder

Bronx, NY- On October 17 at 12:01 PM, a Bronx man was killed after a disagreement over a jacket with another man. The victim and the perpetrator, who was in a car, met at the intersection of E 156 St and Kelly St where the victim agreed to purchase an Armani jacket from him. At some point, the perpetrator sped off, with the victim hanging onto the passenger window of his car. The man was dragged for 4 blocks before being thrown to the ground.

The NYPD stated that EMTs found the man on the ground and bought him to Lincoln Hospital where he died. He has since been identified by police as Dennis Gandarilla, 49.

It is unclear if anything was exchanged between the men before the suspect sped off.

The suspect is described by the NYPD as a white male, approximately 40 years-old.The vehicle that he was driving  is a late model Grand Jeep Cheroke that is either red or maroon in color. Police did not provide a license plate number.
